These can range from refractive errors like <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/midwestvision.com\/service\/myopia-control\/\">nearsightedness<\/a><\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/midwestvision.com\/service\/hyperopia\/\">farsightedness<\/a><\/span>, and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/midwestvision.com\/service\/astigmatism\/\">astigmatism<\/a><\/span>, to eye misalignments, droopy lids, or even cataracts in children. Eye conditions early in life can lead to amblyopia, or \u201clazy eye\u201d, meaning the eye permanently will not see well.<\/p><p>Diagnosing and treating these conditions early is critical to the development of normal vision for the rest of their adult life.
